Why a Women’s Center?
Research has shown that women have unique health needs. In addition to those characteristics that are exclusively ours – such as child birth – our bodies react differently than a man’s to some medications, our symptoms of disease are not always the same.
That’s why Mills-Peninsula created the Women’s Center, to concentrate the top medical experts and most advanced technology in one convenient location – all focused on women’s health.
We began with a record for excellence established during the 12-year history of Mills-Peninsula’s Breast Center, and added programs and services for women in all the times of their lives.
