This program is one of only two programs in San Mateo County to offer meaningful medical services for frail and/or disabled seniors, much more than just traditional day care. Our goal is simple, to avoid the need for a nursing home.

To help participant achieve the highest level of independence, the program applies expert physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

Benefits of the program:

Reduces the isolation many seniors may feel.

Activity renews sense of purpose.

Improved balance and physical strength and/or cognitive skills.

Blood pressure and medication needs monitored by nursing staff.

Connection to other community resources through an available social worker.

Earlier detection of problems, and family members get the support they need, including time to themselves.

More details:

Participants attend two to five days a week, depending on need.

Help with grooming and personal care is provided.

Hot lunch is served daily.

Transportation is available.
