    Program Effectiveness

The following information measures effectiveness of the MPHS Radiography Program. Data is not based on student learning outcomes, but the information gathered is an important measure of the program’s value in the community

    A. Course Completion Rate

The number of enrolled students who complete a course compared with the number of enrolled students who began the course. (Benchmark not less than 75% over a rolling 5-year period)

Students progress to the second year courses upon successful completion of the first year’s courses. In the event a student fails a course that is only one semester in length, the student is placed on academic probation and the student must repeat the course the next time it is offered. This will fulfill the program criteria for successful program completion.

5 year period: 2009 – 2013: 100% of the enrolled students completed all courses. Course completion rates satisfy our program’s goals. Goals met.

    B. Program Retention Rate

    5-Year Student Retention Rate

Student retention rate: The number of students who remain in the program compared with the number of students who initially enrolled. (Benchmark not less than 75% over a rolling 5-year period)

5 year period: 2009 – 2013: 100% of the enrolled students completed all courses. Course completion rates satisfy our program’s goals. Goals met.
