Sports Medicine at Mills-Peninsula
Mills-Peninsula's experienced orthopedic surgeons specialize in the comprehensive care of injuries in active people. We understand that fitness is the key to a healthy life. Our goal is to get you back in the game quickly, and help you live the active lifestyle you love.
Our surgeons are expert in the most advanced arthroscopic approaches. The arthroscope is a tool similar to a miniature lighted telescope that allows the surgeon to see inside the joint with just a half-inch incision. Using the arthroscope as a guide, surgeons can insert other small instruments to perform the necessary procedure, including complex ligament reconstruction of knees and shoulders, rotator cuff repair and cartilage transplants. This advanced approach results in faster recovery, less pain and minimal or no scarring.
We also use other effective, time-tested treatments and conservative treatments that don’t involve surgery.
Our sports medicine specialists treat the full spectrum of injuries with an eye toward preventing recurrence. Common conditions include:
- ACL/MCL tears

- Frozen shoulder
