At The Peninsula Orthopedic Ankle Center we are committed to improving the field of ankle surgery so we can provide the most advanced, scientifically proven treatment options to our patients.
You may be asked to participate in clinical trials that track, assess, and compare treatment outcomes. This is voluntary, and you may choose to participate or decline.
We participate in the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society's "Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Outcomes Research (OFAR) Network." This is a newly developed national database for ankle surgery clinical outcomes research.
Areas of study include:
- Ankle arthritis (total ankle replacement and/or fusion)
- Ankle instability
- Flatfoot deformity correction
