Exercise and Explore Our Parks
One of the greatest strengths of our city is our beautiful parks. Our parks let you absorb the peace, quiet and natural beauty of the outdoors without leaving the city. You can find many fitness activities in our parks or simply use the beautiful surroundings to encourage your own fitness time. With over 200 acres of park land there is plenty of outdoor space for you to take a walk or ride in our parks.

Exercise your mind too!
Visit our new main library at 55 W. Third Avenue in San Mateo and use one of over 100 computers, or bring your laptop for free wireless internet, read a story in the children's Book Bubble amphitheater or sip a latte from the Bean Street Café while you read on the outdoor terrace, surrounded by redwood trees. Visit www.smlibrary.org for our latest Library news and events.
