    Training Opportunities for Nurses

    RN Training Programs
    Med/Surg Training Program
  • Length: 4 - 6 weeks (20 shifts) with preceptor(s)
  • Requirements: Permanent CA RN license or Interim Permit (IP) with confirmed ATT date | Current BLS certification | At least one year recent acute care experience or successful completion of accredited Nursing Program and clinical rotation hours within the last six months

    Critical Care Training Program
  • Length: 8 - 12 weeks long (including weekly classroom sessions, 1 -2 days/week for first 8 weeks) and three to four shifts/week with preceptor(s)
  • Requirements: Permanent CA RN license or Interim Permit (IP) with confirmed ATT date | Current BLS certification | At least one year recent acute care experience or successful completion of accredited Nursing Program and clinical rotation hours within the last six months | Recent completion of ACLS and EKG Interpretation classes helpful

    Student Nurse Internships
  • Requirements - Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program, completion of Fundamentals of Nursing with a passing grade, successful completion of at least one term of clinical rotation, and current BLS certification.
