Relocation Assistance

Mills-Peninsula offers relocation assistance for certain newly-hired nurses who accept a 4/5 or full-time offer of employment in positions identified as eligible. Maximum relocation allowances vary depending on the distance traveled. The following are the maximum allowances:

• Outside the United States - $7,000
  
• Eastern Zone, Hawaii, Alaska - $5,000
  
• Central Zone, Mountain - $4,000
  
• Pacific Zone (must be 50 or more miles from Burlingame, CA) - $2,000

The relocation reimbursement program is intended to cover the following types of expenses:

• Mileage
  
• Automobile related expenses
  
• One-way airfare/travel
  
• Household and personal effects
  
• Lodging
  
• Meals

These maximum allowances must be substantiated by receipts.
