Risk assessment
Lipid testing (more precise blood test measuring all components of cholesterol), blood pressure screening, diabetes screening
Noninvasive diagnostic imaging
Includes noninvasive ultrasound screening for heart disease and stroke known as Intima-Media Thickness (IMT), echocardiography, nuclear cardiac imaging, peripheral vascular imaging.
Two cardiac catheterization (Cath) laboratories
Coronary angiography (creates images of arteries to determine thickening), coronary angioplasty (placement of slender devices called stents to expand vessels), peripheral arterial angioplasty (arteries in the abdomen, legs or neck), treatment for atrial fibrillation
Cardiac electrophysiology
Electrical study and correction of heart rhythm disturbances (arrhythmia), pacemaker implantation, implantation of defibrillators and other electrical corrective devices
Stereotaxis
State-of-the-art magnetic guided catheter technology increases precision and safety during interventional procedures such as catheter ablation to treat arrhythmia
Cardiac and vascular surgery
Coronary bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, placement of grafts and stents inside an artery without actually opening the vessel, surgery of the aorta and peripheral vessels
Cardiac rehabilitation and vascular improvement program
Education and monitored exercise to help people who have experienced cardiovascular disease or leg pain or other circulation problems
