About Us - Mills-Peninsula Hospital Foundation

In 1973, the Mills Memorial Hospital Foundation was formed to strengthen the financial base of the hospital and direct its fund raising program. Today, Mills-Peninsula Hospital Foundation stewards local healthcare philanthropy by funding new equipment, facility improvements, nursing education and enhancements to patient comfort, safety, services and programs that exceed the hospital's normal operating budget, providing a margin of excellence for our patients.

Our Foundation's fund raising efforts include corporate and foundation solicitations, planned giving, direct mail and special events. Our volunteer Board of Trustees consists of community leaders, business executives and physicians who govern the Foundation.
