Mills-Peninsula’s Nutrition Services program offers a variety of choices to help people maintain healthy eating habits. We offer individual and group sessions with a registered dietician.
Nutrition Counseling
We offer individual sessions with a registered dietian and certified diabetes educator who provide nutrition and lifestyle analysis with a personalized eating plan to manage prediabetes, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, irritable bowel syndrome, kidney disease, weight management for adults and children, and other conditions. We provide counseling for people who are interested in gastric bypass surgery.

Advantage in Weight Loss
These sessions are tailored to help people lose weight and develop a healthier lifestyle. This program includes seven individual appointments with a registered dietitian.

Diabetes Weight Management Series
A registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator, guides participants as they lose weight for better diabetes control. Topics include carb counting, meal planning, choosing fats for heart health, fiber, dining out and exercise. Learn how to make healthy food choices using mindful eating and lifestyle changes.
Where: 4th floor classroom, Mills Health Center
When: Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Cost: $36 for 4 classes per month (no doctor order required)
