Cancer Care Specialist
Marie Rinaldi, who has been at Mills-Peninsula since 1986, currently works with patients in the Dorothy E. Schneider Cancer Center. Her special interests include pain management and lung cancer screening. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of San Francisco in 1986 and a Master of Science degree in nursing in 1991 from the University of California, San Francisco, as an oncology clinical nurse specialist.
Jennifer Vickerman R.N., M.S., AOCN
Cancer Care Specialist
Jennifer Vickerman’s special interests within cancer care are breast cancer and hereditary risk of developing cancer. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1985 and her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of California, San Francisco, in 1989 as an oncology clinical nurse specialist. Jennifer has worked at Mills-Peninsula since 1989 as an oncology clinical nurse specialist. She currently works in the Dorothy E. Schneider Cancer Center with cancer patients.
Dana Genser R.N., MS, GCNS
Cancer Care Specialist
Dana is the inpatient Oncology and Medical-Surgical Advanced Practice Nurse at Mills-Peninsula Health Services and is a resource to patients and staff. She received her associates degree in 2001 and bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Pacific Union College. She received her Master of Science degree as a geriatric clinical nurse specialist from University of California at San Francisco in 2008. Dana’s background is in critical care, palliative care and medical surgical nursing. Her special interests include pain and symptom management, education for patients with newly diagnosed cancers, advanced care planning for frail populations and palliative care.
