About the Birth Center

The same family-centered care provided today will continue in our new $618 million Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. This state-of-the-art facility is home to a new Family Birth Center with 30 private rooms for mother, newborn and spouse/partner. Each room was designed for labor, delivery recovery and postpartum care. Several rooms overlook gardens; all have outdoor views.

12-bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and Level II nursery equipped to care for premature babies and babies who need specialized medical support
