Individualized treatment begins with a thorough assessment to determine whether the person is appropriate for treatment and at what level. Our team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and therapists consider the patient's medical, psychological, social and functional status in order to develop an appropriate, individualized treatment and discharge plan. For adolescents, additional assessment components include an evaluation of the family situation and the adolescent's educational needs.
